| ShortSummary       = ''Part 1:'' Tony and Jenny Stark return from their honeymoon to Malibu City, where they discover a 30% decrease in crime. Eager to share the news, Tony announces new hiring at Stark Industries, marking four years since the last recruitment and a turnaround from declining revenues. Among the applicants is Justin Hammer, whose credentials impress Tony enough to offer him a position. Concurrently, Jenny is appointed as co-CEO, a move Tony believes will bolster the company. However, their triumph is short-lived; Tony, opting to walk home, is brutally assaulted by a gang, leaving him critically injured. Jenny, responding to his distress call, rushes him to the hospital. Three months later, a recovered Tony, fueled by a determination to safeguard the city, constructs a steel suit. Revealing his creation to Jenny, they uncover the Mayor's deception about the crime rate and resolve to combat the city's hidden criminal elements together.
----
''Part 2:'' When a bank heist unfolds, Tony, donning his Iron Man suit, intervenes but is forced to retreat by the police. Back at Stark Industries, Tony and Jenny focus on revitalizing the company for a new era of sales and innovation. Impressed by Justin's performance, Tony rewards him with a raise. Meanwhile, Malibu City Police Chief Mark Singh becomes fixated on apprehending Iron Man and uncovering his true identity. Tony, exploring the capabilities of his suit, learns to harness its strength and force. Jenny cautions him to reserve such power for opponents equally matched in technology. Another break-in prompts Tony to action, successfully thwarting the criminals. He returns, perplexed by the police's indifference, but Jenny reassures him of the uniqueness and necessity of his role. As Tony contemplates upgrades to his suit, ominous criminal lords converge on Malibu City, hinting at looming threats.

  | ShortSummary   = Noah, feeling despondent and guilty for his recent actions, isolates himself at home, engrossed in TV and his phone until, in a moment of frustration, he smashes his phone. Meanwhile, Jenny tries to persuade Tony to reconsider Noah's involvement in their mission, but Tony, grappling with trust issues, staunchly refuses. In his Iron Man persona, Tony approaches the Mayor with a bold plan to deploy an EMP, aiming to disable the replicated Iron Man suits wreaking havoc in the city. The Mayor grants approval for this drastic measure. However, Tony soon finds himself overwhelmed by the sheer power of the suits. In a surprising turn, he is rescued by Silverman (Noah), who expresses remorse for his earlier recklessness. Seizing the moment, Tony confronts Justin, successfully neutralizing and destroying his suit in a furnace. He then hands Justin over to the authorities, providing compelling evidence to implicate Mark Singh in the recent crimes. The team regroups at the Iron Base, celebrating their hard-fought victory. Embracing a new beginning, Tony announces his intention to establish Malibu Industries, moving beyond Stark Industries. This triumphant moment is interrupted by the arrival of Jack Smith, who urgently seeks their assistance against a formidable adversary known as "The Big Guy."

Discussions for the series began in 2014 with Freddie Goodwin approaching Kevin Feige with a idea for the series and begin development in 2015 to have the series release in a standalone universe in 2017. However, Feige didn't like the idea of the story. In 2019, Goodwin rewrote the season with a focus on action and comic-accuracy with adapting multiple storylines from multiple different comic stories. He again talked with Feige, who liked the new story stating it was a "massive improvement that is different from the MCU". Goodwin gained rights to release the series which was planned to be on The CW. In September 2020, Netflix had made a deal to have the series release on Netflix too.
In mid-2025, HBO Max greenlit ''Iron Man'' as a Warriorverse spinoff series with a planned 23-episode first season. Jackson Greene was announced as showrunner, developing the series as a structural companion to ''School Warrior''. Robert Downey Jr. signed on to reprise his role as Tony Stark with expanded creative input.

Iron Man is the first season of the Warriorverse spinoff television series based on the Marvel Comics character Tony Stark / Iron Man, created for HBO Max by Jackson Greene. The season premiered on March 12, 2026, and consists of 23 episodes. Set within the continuity of the Warriorverse, the series follows Tony Stark as he rebuilds StarkTech, develops new armor technology, and uncovers rising metahuman-linked threats that lead directly into his later crossover appearances in School Warrior.
