Following the release of ShooterofIO: Dark Warfare (2024), the series’ long-term plans shifted when Mob Productions assumed full publishing control of the franchise, replacing Monsteristic, which had overseen publication of the original Dark Warfare title. On June 17, 2025, the leaker “Pine@pple Leaks” reported that the next premium ShooterofIO installment would include a substantial amount of content, while noting that it would not match the scale of the first game.
