Filming for "Pilot" took place in various locations but mainly in Vancouver, British Columbia, with extensive use of practical lighting effects to distinguish Bart’s unstable speed from Barry Allen’s traditional Speed Force visuals.

On December 17, 2025, it was announced that Danielle Panabaker would reprise her role as Caitlin Snow.

Composer Blake Neely introduced a new musical motif for Bart that deliberately avoids The Flash’s iconic theme, reinforcing the character’s struggle to escape his father’s identity.
