The fourth season of the Australian television series School Warrior, which is based on the DC Comics characters, premiered on October 14, 2027, available through the streaming service HBO Max, and consists of 22 episodes. The season follows Miles, a metahuman MCPD officer with superhuman speed who fights criminals, including others who have also gained superhuman abilities. It is set in the Warriorverse, sharing continuity with the other television series of the universe. The season is produced by Mob Productions and SOI Studios, with Freddie Goodwin and Jackson Greene serving as showrunner.
The season was announced on March 2027. Filming for the season began that July and concluded in March 2028. Asa Butterfield stars as Miles Porter / Velocity, with principal cast members Hailee Steinfeld, Noah Jupe, Emma Myers, John Boyega, Madelaine Petsch, Margot Robbie, Melissa Barrera, Malese Jow, Robert Downey Jr., and Nick Creegan also appearing. The series was renewed for a fifth season in November 2027.

Season four is broken into multiple "Graphic Novel" storyline arcs; the numbering will continue from the first three "Graphic Novels" established in season three. The first "Graphic Novel" of the season, is called "Forged in Speed and Steel", and is a eight-episode "crossover" type of event featuring the return of Tony Stark / Iron Man, who previously appeared in the fifteenth episode of the third season.

In December 2026, Freddie Goodwin, who served as showrunner for the first three seasons, stated that if the series were renewed for a fourth season, he would collaborate with Jackson Greene as co-showrunner. In March 2027, the series was officially renewed for a fourth season, consisting of 22 episodes. Shortly after the renewal, Goodwin expressed his gratitude to HBO Max and revealed that he had long envisioned Iron Man's return as a central element of the upcoming season.
In April 2027, it was announced that the season's first three episodes would form a single graphic novel and would feature the return of both Iron Man and Silverman. However, in July 2027, it was revealed that the event would expand to encompass the first eight episodes of the season, instead of the initially planned three.
Goodwin worked closely with Greene to develop the story, drawing on Greene's experience as the creator of the Iron Man series in 2023. Greene specifically chose to involve Robert Downey Jr., believing that the actor's insights and connection to one of the lead characters would enhance the narrative's depth and overall quality.
